Vox Phantom

Vox Phantom Mark VI

This is a very very rare Vox Phantom (Mark VI) reissue from late 90's, produced in the USA. During this period ("Korg" era) 700 reissues were made of Teadrop, Mando and Phantom guitars. I assume these reissues must be superior in quality when compared with the 60's Italian made models.   It just came from a professional luthier, with a new setup. It's all original and in full working order. It has a Poplar body, Maple neck, Rosewood fingerboard, original Bigsby tremolo and original semirigid case. The color is black with a very discreet sparkle.   It has two visible chips on the back (check photos), as well as some light wear also in the back. In the front side, the only visible wear is in the pickup covers that have a little yellow stain.   These Phantom guitars are conceptualy close to the Stratocasters, with three pickups and the same selection possibilities. They sound much like Strats.  Extensive info can be found at "The VOX Showroom" website.

Very recent setup made by professional luthier that reported a 7/10 rating for this guitar's condition.
